Aqua Glossy - Silkmatt - Matt Varnish

DESCRIPTION

Acrylic based, water-based, superior performance, UV-resistant, glossy-matt, dampproof, decorative and wood preservative varnish. 

PROPERTIES

• Protects wooden material for long years against all external factors
• Protects wooden material from sunrays thanks to the UV absorbers it contains
• Prevents wooden material from wearing out due to abrasive effects of rain, snow, wind and salt.
• Easily applied on vertical surfaces without running down thanks to its thixotropic behavior.

 APPLICATION SURFACES

It has been formulated for use on exterior wooden surfaces, such as doors, window woodworks, pergolas, wooden garden furniture.

APPLICATION METHOD

If the surface of application is already painted or varnished, the surface is sanded. The surface is cleaned off of dust, dirt and paint/varnish before wood care. The surface is prepared for application by wiping it with cellulosic thinner. This process will increase the efficiency of our product. Aqua Glossy-Matt Varnish is a ready-to-use product in its packaging. It can be diluted with drinking water by 10-15% if needed. It can be applied in 2 coats using a brush, roller and airless sprayer and minimum 3 coats on certain woods that have deep pores such as iroko, oak, chestnut, mahogany sapele. One of the most important things to consider in ensuring long years of performance of the water-based external wall varnish system is to apply the required amount of the material (300-350 gr/m2) on the wooden surface. The coats of product should be applied every 3-4 hours, after sanding down each coat.

Dilution / Mixing Ratio

Our product is a ready-to-use in its packaging. It can be diluted with drinking water by 10-15% if needed. 

Paintable (Coverable) Area

1 liter of product covers a surface of 10-12 m2. 

Storage

It can be stored for 2 years at a temperature of +5°C to +35°C in its original packaging, in a closed environment with no direct sunlight. Protect from frost.
