Epoxy Shopprimer Primer Paint
DESCRIPTION
Epoxy resin based, double component, very fast reaction drying, solvent primer which contains highly anticorrosive zinc phosphate pigments. It is suitable for use in automatic painting machines.

APPLICATION SURFACES
It is the first and single coat, protective, pre-production primer intended for protection of steel sheets of ships, structural steel elements and other production steels from corrosion during their manufacturing, transportation and stacking.
APPLICATION METHOD
The surfaces to be painted must be clean, dry and cleaned off of any impurities. New metal surfaces: Oil and grease on the metal surface must be removed using detergent or vapor, and high-pressure fresh water should be used to remove salt and other impurities. After the cleaning, it is recommended to rasp the surface for minimum Sa 2½ level according to ISO 8501-1 standard. The surfaces rasped must be primed with YALAZ SHOP PRIMER in no later than 5 hours depending on the environmental conditions.

Component A: 4 parts
Component B: 1 part
Paintable (Coverable) Area
14-18 m2/liter (for a dry film thickness of 15-20 µ).
Drying Time
Touch Dry: 1-3 minutes.
Hard Dry: 4 minutes.
Recoat: 6 hours.
Full Cure: 7 days.
