Polyurethane Filler Varnish

DESCRIPTION

Two-component, polyurethane based, reaction curing, easy-to-sand filler varnish with high filling capacity.

APPLICATION SURFACES

It has been formulated to be used to prepare veneer and solid wood surfaces for topcoat varnish applications. The product allows for unproblematic application of polyurethane, polyester and acrylic topcoat varnishes on top of it.

APPLICATION METHOD

Prior to application, surfaces must be sandpapered and cleaned off of any sand dust. After mixing the components at the specified ratio (100:50), the mixture is diluted with Cellulosic Thinner and applied in two to four coats in cross directions on the surfaces. The surface is sanded with sandpaper no. 220 first and then sandpaper no. 400 after 2-3hours in summer months or approximately 12 hours in winter months to prepare the surface for topcoat varnish application.

Component B: 1 part

10-12 m2/kg depending on dry film thickness (except for application losses)

Drying Time

Dust Dry: 15-20 minutes

Touch Dry: 30-40 minutes

Hard Dry: 24 hours

Storage

The material must be stored in a cool and dry place. The shelf life of the product is 1 year in its sealed original packaging if stored under the right conditions.

Packaging

12 kg of Component A + 6 kg of Component B: a Set of 18 Kg

3 kg of Component A + 1.5 kg of Component B: a Set of 4.5 Kg

Important Warning

The components must be mixed well. Since the paint cannot be used after the mixture’s useful life expires, mixtures should be prepared in small amounts according to the mixing ratio in order not to reduce the product by wastage. Any surplus paint mixed with hardener should not be poured into the paint not mixed with hardener.
