Functional Primer
The functional primer is a single component, air drying, alkyd resin based primer. It is an easy-to-sand, fast drying primer paint with resistance to corrosion and well adhesion on the surface, which creates a smooth surface for the coats to be applied on top of it.

APPLICATION SURFACES
It may be applied on different materials such as galvanized, metal, sheet metal, machine component, trailer, home and garden tools.
APPLICATION METHOD
Application surfaces must be cleaned off of dirt, corrosion and dust. Blistered, loose and old paints must be scraped away and the entire surface must be sanded. The surface of application must be clean and dry. Yalaz Functional Primer is diluted with Industrial Thinner and applied with a paint sprayer. Industrial Topcoat Paint is applied after or without sanding the surface.
Dilution / Mixing Ratio
Diluted with thinner by 15-20%.
Paintable (Coverable) Area
Covers a surface of 7-9 m2/kg (dry film thickness of 35-40μ).
Drying Time
(20°C):
Dust Dry: 8-10 minutes
Touch Dry: 15-20 minutes
Storage
It must be kept and stored in a cool and dry environment with no direct sunlight. It can be stored in its original packaging for minimum 1 year. Keep the lid closed after using. Protect from frost.
