Epoxy Shop Primer Paint
A solvent-based, two-component, very fast reaction-curing epoxy primer containing anticorrosive zinc phosphate pigment. It provides a smooth surface and does not compromise weld quality. Suitable for use in automatic painting machines.

SURFACES TO APPLY
It is a first and single-coat protective prefabrication primer for protecting ship steel plates, structural steel elements, and other fabrication steels against corrosion during production, transport, and storage.
APPLICATION METHOD
All surfaces to be painted must be clean, dry, and free from all contaminants. New metal surfaces: Oil and grease on the metal surface should be cleaned with detergent or steam; salt and other contaminants should be removed with high-pressure fresh water. After cleaning, for best results, sandblasting to Sa 2½ level according to ISO 8501-1 standard should be performed. Sandblasted surfaces should be primed with YALAZ SHOP PRIMER within a maximum of 5 hours, depending on environmental conditions.

Touch dry: 1-3 min
Hard dry: 4 min
