2k Acrylic Varnish
Acrylic resin based, double component, reaction drying, glossy and transparent acrylic varnish with high UV resistance and high resistance to impacts and abrasions, which is cured with aliphatic isocyanate hardener.

APPLICATION SURFACES
It is used directly on metal surfaces or on top of topcoat systems when high glossiness is desired.
APPLICATION METHOD
The surface must be cleaned off of any oil, rust and impurities using suitable cleaning agents. The surface must be entirely cleaned. 2 parts of Component A and 1 part of Component B are mixed. The two components are provided in two separate containers at the specified mixing ratio. The entire amounts of the two components must be mixed. The mixture must be stirred with a mechanical stirrer, the hardener must be added slowly when stirring Component A and stirring should be continued for 5-10 minutes. After stirring is done, the mixture must be left to rest for 20-30 minutes. The viscosity of application is adjusted with Acrylic Thinner by 10-15%, and the paint is applied in 2-3 coats. The mixture prepared for application must be used and finished in 5-7 hours. The paint should be applied as a powder on the surface of application first and then applied in the desired thickness. The application temperature is +5 to +35°C. Spraying systems will give a glossy appearance to metal without changing its natural color. Yalaz Acrylic Varnish applied on topcoats will provide for high glossiness without changing the natural color of the material.

Paint: 2 parts
Hardener: 1 part
Thinner: 10-15%
Paintable (Coverable) Area
Paints a surface of 11-14 m2/kg. (for applications of paint + hardener in film thickness of 40 microns).
Drying Time
Dust Dry: 1-2 hours.
Touch Dry: 72 hours.
Hard Dry: 24 hours.
Storage
It must be kept and stored in a cool and dry environment with no direct sunlight. It can be stored in its original packaging for minimum 1 year. Keep the lid closed after using. Protect from frost.
